Rising comedians Dan Perlman and Kevin Iso star fictionalised versions of themselves in this new comedy series set in Flatbush, Brooklyn, as neighbourhood best friends and urban millennials hilariously climbing the ladder to nowhere, but still finding little wins through tackling hipsters, race, mental health issues, and the rising tide of gentrification.
Albeit in a laid back sort of way.
In the season premiere, Kevin and Dan struggle to thrive in their new surroundings of Flatbush, but when Kevin accidentally spills a local drug dealer’s promethazine while on a routine food delivery, both their lives are thrown into unexpected upheaval.
Then, Zayna deals with a rumour she had sex with her teenage crush while Kevin deals with delivering on his first freelance painting job. Dan excitedly prepares to attend Jess’s birthday party, but their worlds collide when Drew’s demands impact all their lives.
