 CBS pilot Ghosts, based on the successful BBC One comedy has been given a series green light. A single-camera  pilot, directed by Trent O’Donnell, about a young couple who inherit a haunted house. The couple played by Rose McIver and Utkarsh Ambudkar — are thrilled that their dream of owning  their own house has come true when they inherit a beautiful country house.  The only drawback, as they soon discover, is that it is dilapidated and inhabited by ghosts of numerous deceased previous residents who have occupied the house over previous centuries.

The series also stars Brandon Scott Jones, Richie Moriarty, Asher Grodman, Rebecca Wisocky, Sheila Carrasco, Danielle Pinnock and Roman Zaragoza.

Joe Port and Joe Wiseman are writing and executive producing. Also exec producing are Mathew Baynton, Jim Howick, Simon Farnaby, Laurence Rickard, Ben Willbond and Martha Howe-Douglas, alongside Alison Carpenter, Debra Hayward, and Alison Owen for Monumental Television and Angie Stephenson for BBC Studios. CBS Studios are producing the series in association with Lionsgate Television and BBC Studios.
