Netflix has ordered Space Force season 2 (see article). The show, which went straight to series last year, is inspired by the proposal for a sixth branch of the US military and centers on four-star General Mark R. Naird (Steve Carell), who has dreams of running the US Air Force are dashed and he finds himself tasked with heading up the newly formed Space Force and being pressured to launch a satellite despite dire warnings from scientists.
The series which aired on Netflix, also stars John Malkovich, Lisa Kudrow, Diana Silvers , Ben Schwartz, Jimmy O. Yang, Noah Emmerich, the late Fred Willard, Tawny Newsome, Don Lake. and Dan Bakkedahl
Steve Carell is also the co-creator of the series alongside US “The Office” creator Greg Daniels, both of whom are also executive producers. Space Force season 2
